Who this policy covers
This policy applies when you visit SeekSey, create an account, publish or browse a notice, subscribe to alerts, or contact us.
SeekSey connects businesses and suppliers directly. Information you publish in a notice or business profile can be visible to the public.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, business details, email address, phone number, account credentials, notices, documents, alert preferences, and messages sent through our contact form.
We also collect technical information needed to operate and secure the service. This can include your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device information, timestamps, pages viewed, and security logs.
How we use information
We use information to create and protect accounts, publish notices, display business profiles, manage email-alert subscriptions and deliver alerts when the delivery service is enabled, process notice fees through enabled payment methods, respond to enquiries, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.
We may use aggregated information that does not identify you to understand service performance and usage.
Public information and direct contact
Published notices, their attached documents, business names, logos, business descriptions, and selected contact details can be viewed by anyone. Public information may be indexed by search engines or shared through the channels included in a publishing offer. Closing a notice does not retrieve copies held by others. Do not publish personal or confidential information that you do not want to make public.
Suppliers contact notice publishers outside SeekSey. Their communications are controlled by the people and services involved in that contact.
Alerts and payment information
Alert preferences are stored with your account so you can manage the categories you choose.
When email delivery is enabled, we use your selected categories and account email for the alerts you request. You can change or remove those selections in Settings. Service and account messages may be sent separately from optional notice alerts.
When online payment is enabled, payment providers process the details needed for checkout. We may receive payment references, amounts, statuses and related billing information to confirm a payment, provide support and keep appropriate records. Do not send full card details or authentication codes through our contact form.
Private billing records include the billing name, email, address and optional tax number you provide, itemised invoices, payment references and receipts. You can view these and update the details for future documents in Billing. Issued documents keep the details recorded when they were issued; corrections retain the original record and a reason. Billing details are separate from your public business profile.
Service providers and international processing
SeekSey uses service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, payments, security, and performance monitoring. These providers may process information outside Seychelles.
We limit provider access to the information required for the service they perform and use contractual protections where appropriate.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Retention periods depend on the information and its purpose.
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can update business and account information from your dashboard. You can also unsubscribe from category alerts in Settings.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to identity checks and applicable legal requirements. Use the Contact page to submit a request.
Children's privacy
SeekSey is a business service and is not intended for children. Do not create an account if you are not legally able to agree to these terms.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the service, our practices, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top shows the latest revision.
