What browser storage does
Cookies and similar browser storage help websites remember sessions, preferences and information between visits. SeekSey also uses a service worker and cached files to support its installable web experience.
Accounts and essential functions
Supabase authentication cookies keep you signed in and support protected account pages. Their names usually begin with sb- and include auth-token; they may be split across several cookies. Sign-out clears the account session cookies. Cookie settings do not sign you out or disable account security.
We store your cookie choice under seeksey:cookie-choice:v1 so we can respect it. This records the preference choice, its version and the time it was made; it does not subscribe you to alerts.
Optional remembered preferences
If you allow preferences, seeksey:header-auth can hold a last-known account display, including your email and business name or logo. This display does not grant account access: permissions are checked separately. It is removed on sign-out or when you turn preferences off.
The app-install suggestion can also remember whether it was dismissed, under seeksey-pwa-install-dismissed-at, or whether installation completed, under seeksey-pwa-installed. A dismissal suppresses the suggestion for 30 days. These remembered choices are removed when you turn preferences off. Installing or uninstalling the app itself remains under your control.
Cached content
Technical app files and previously visited listings may be cached to support loading and the installable app. These file caches are separate from optional remembered preferences and are managed through your browser’s site-data controls. Cached information can be older than the current service. Open a notice online to check its current status before relying on a cached copy.
External services
When you leave SeekSey for an external payment page, WhatsApp or another service, that service’s own storage and privacy rules apply. Any optional analytics or marketing technology we introduce must be reflected in this policy and the choices offered to you.
Your controls
Cookie settings control the optional account-display and app-install preferences described above. They do not control storage used by external websites. You can inspect, restrict or clear all cookies and cached files in your browser’s site-data settings. Blocking necessary storage can affect sign-in and other functions. Our Privacy policy explains the wider handling of personal information.
